The land of Malistar Chapter 1

The land of Malistar. A hellish battle ground for all races that take refuge on the large planet. The land of the mysterious and the mythical. The world of the twin moons and the black sun. Hot deserts, cold tundras, dark forests, humid rain forests, and deep oceans cover the surface of this world.

What once was a land of peace, has been transformed into what is called Malistar, or roughly know as The Black World.

War rages in every inch of the lands. Hatred is the only thing known among the life forms. The only way to survive.... is to kill.






I ran for my life, forcing every step that might be my last. I had wandered into the wrong territory, and had run into the species that took residence there. The Flame Goblins of the west forest were only known to kill and eat anything that was not of their race.

They were about 10 times larger than me, which wasn’t saying much being only a simple human teenager with a height of five feet two inches. Their literal fiery eyes blazed brighter in the night.

I dodged flaming balls of fire that flew at me left and right. I cursed under my breath as I continued forward. I heard a combination of hissing and growling behind me followed by the thundering stomping of large magma engulfed footsteps.

“Crap! The one time I try to be a good girl and it literally goes up in flames!” I yelled as I jumped over a tree root.

“Get back here little snack!” A deep gurgled voice behind me.

“Heck no you creepy voiced giant sick-o!” I hollered back, and took a direct turn to the right as a fire ball hit not two feet from where I was just standing. I curse under my breath as I continue to run.

I look up and my eyes widen at what I saw, but before I could do anything I run smack into a giant shoe. I fall flat on my back on some hard rocks.

I could feel the heat of the Flame Goblins getting closer. ”I’m so dead…”I whimper.

“Why are you on my land?” the male giants voice boomed above me. I looked up but was surprised when he wasn’t talking to me. His gaze was stuck on the Flame Goblins.

The goblins gave a gurgled hiss. The giants snarled before giving a giant roar. I covered my ears at the ear piercing sound.

The Flame Goblins gave another gurgled hiss before running. I uncovered my ears and looked up at the giant being before me and gulped.

He looked down at me. His eyes narrowed before kneeling down. “Are you alright?” He asked.

My eyes widened at the question. A living being of a different species was asking me if I was alright. I looked at him wide eyed, my heart racing.

“Well? Are you alright?” He asked again.

I gulped and stood up. “Yeah I’m fine…”
